Brewing can be broken into main 3 areas when you want to set up your own brewery:

  1. Kit brewing suitable for beginners with a small investment say 100-300 euros. We can show you how to successfully brew from kits using your own equipment. You will learn to avoid the majority of mistakes homebrewers make and produce very drinkable beer at home on minimal equipment.

  2. All-grain Brewing with a bigger investment say 300-1000 euros. This is how the commercials brew. Unlike Kit brewing it involves making your own malt liquid from barley or other grains. This is more advanced than kit brewing and needs more equipment. Kits have a pre made recipe but with al-grain brewing you make the recipe.

  3. Competition Brewing. This is where things get a bit more serious and takes a little experience and dedication. You need to brew good beer to specific style guidelines e.g. aroma, colour, taste, mouthfeel, alcohol content and satify judges that it is within style guidelines. The judges then have a small amount of subjectivity which can be where you win or dont win....so u need to not just brew good beer but be creative and give your beer that certain edge over the others
