Learn to brew from the masters

At Maltcracker championship Brewhouse, Brendan who has been brewing since 1985 won 'Best Brewer 2014' at the National Brewing Championships held in Dublin and Cork. This event organised by the national Homebrew Club attracted very good sponsors and attracted judges from as far away as USA.

 

The brewing and Craft beer scene is growing rapidly and Brendan is well placed to teach you how to brew. Brendan holds a Masters degree in Nutrition, is a Nationally acreddited trainer, holds the MBAA Beer stewards Certificate and is also a Certified BJCP competition Judge and a commercially qualified brewer holding IBD Certification

You are in the best hands possible. Our beers won seven medals at the National Championships and we have finished Highest score, 2nd and third place on Numerous occasions. The National Championships had almost 500 beers, 178 Brewers in about 30 beer styles but there was only One Best Brewer 2014

Kellie is a very important part of the Maltcracker establishment. One of the highest scoring students in the 2014 Beer Judge Certification programme exams, now a certified BJCP Judge, a member of Beoir ( the Irish craft Beer consumers group), National Homebrew Club member and Co-Brewer and brewday 'hostess with the mostest' at our now famous brewdays.

Kellie is somewhat famous at home and abroad for here dedication, knowledge and enthusiasm for real beer and the social environment that goes with it.

A member of the Dublin ladies Craft Beer Society,  Kellie is the leader in the field of involving women in this amazing hobby always with a clear focus on sensible drinking and fine, simple healthy food that accompanies any beer tasting.
